The rich colours and dark backgrounds of paintings from the Renaissance and Dutch Masters periods influence Amanda Swaney\u2019s photographs of Still Life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Australian native plants, garden flowers, fruit and vegetables grown on her Mansfield farm form the subject matter for the photographs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharp focus captures the texture and tones of the subjects and invite the viewer to lean into images and to be tempted to stroke the soft petal of a rose or to touch the rough skin of a pomegranate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amanda’s photographs can be found printed on canvas, placemats, cards, calendars and bookmarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
