Linda is a Textile Artist, working with rope and fabric to create unique bowls and trays.
Creativity has been a big part of Linda’s life since she was a child. This has led her to experience all
types of craft but particularly those involving textiles and machine sewing, including making an
award winning wall quilt and receiving recognition at State level for her interpretation of an antique
quilt.
Whilst living in Mildura, Linda perfected the art of fabric dyeing and painting, selling her fabrics at
Quilt and Craft shows in Melbourne and designing and publishing her own patterns for quilts. Her
experience over the years has led her to teach extensively, sharing her love of Patchwork and hand
embroidery.
Since retirement and settling in Mansfield, she is developing a unique range of rope items which she
sells at Made in Mansfield.
